In 2014, Sussex Machine Shop opened its new Grit Blast shop to meet specifications for the mining industry.
This allows Sussex Machine Shop to use recyclable and more environmentally friendly grit blast, replacing the former sand blast operation..
In 2015, a new paint shop has been added to expand our capacity for painting and coating operations for structures up to 16’ wide x 14’ high x 60’ long, and to meet environmental and safety regulations.
Meeting NFPA and OSHA regulations, the paint shop is among the best anywhere in Canada.
